At the start of this class critiquing others work was a bit of a difficult task. Before you really know someone it’s hard to give them solid feedback they can use to better their work because you don’t want to come off as rude. But after getting to know everyone in the class better it became easier to give suggestions about how to improve their work because you genuinely want to help them achieve a good grade. With our critiquing process for out Literacy Narrative paper we were given a format to which we were supposed to make our comments. I felt like it really helped the critiquing process when we were given a certain topic to comment on and a minimum number of comments required. It helped to put more thought into our peer reviews, rather than just focusing on grammatical errors. I feel my peer-review skills have greatly improved from this class.
