These are two pictures of my rough draft Literacy Narrative Essay that I had annotated. In this particular annotation I focused on where I had story and analysis. I outlined my story portion with purple marker of the left-hand side of my paper, and I outlined my analysis with green. Through this process I was able to see visually that my essay needed more analysis in order to develop. I also made notes at the top of my paper areas I saw I needed to work on as I read through my paper. Some things I pointed out were: focusing on analysis, dig deeper into my sources used, and remove drag-on parts to my story that left the reader uninterested. Through doing this I was able to improve my essay.
