This first picture is from Susan Greenfield’s book Mind Change. I used this authors writing in my essay on Social Media and how if effects our connections to each other both negatively and positively. I highlighted on this page the “I say” in Greenfields writing. The specific quote I used from Greenfield are the highlighted words at the bottom of the page that I further annotated on the side!

 

 

The second picture is from danah boyds writing from her book It’s Complicated. The quote I used from her writing is the last sentence of the first paragraph on this page. It refers to a girl who moves between social media accounts and acts accordingly on each page, not in a manner of being fake. I went to further annotate this on the side and talked about how teens used different social media sights to connect to different audiences.
